Another tool has just been released for all clients of the Pixeon Aurora PACS.
The new brain midline deviation calculation feature allows users to measure this deviation through an annotation on an axial image.
The measurement is performed with just three clicks: the first two define the beginning and end of the midline, and the third, in a perpendicular direction, defines the deviation relative to the midline in millimeters.
In neurology, for example, this feature assists in assessing pathologies such as stroke, hydrocephalus, and other traumas that may affect the normal anatomy of the brain.

Fully Released Tool
The brain midline deviation calculation tool is another innovation made available to all clients of the Pixeon Aurora PACS, at no additional cost.
To use it, simply ensure that you are running the latest version of the software. Enjoy!
