Hospital Dona Helena, located in Joinville, Santa Catarina, has been in operation since 1916, with a focus on patients’ well-being and quality of life. It was a pioneer in hospital digitalization when it inaugurated its Imaging Diagnostic Center (CDDI) in 1992.
In 2008, it began a partnership with Pixeon, becoming one of the first hospitals to implement a PACS system for imaging examinations. As a result, it achieved excellent outcomes in productivity and innovation.

As a reference center in diagnostic imaging, the hospital needed to manage a high volume of examinations and reports quickly and securely, eliminating rework, accelerating consultations, and optimizing the workflow of the medical team.
