Laboratório Sanitas is a diagnostic center specialized in imaging exams and clinical analyses. With nine units in Guarulhos and São Paulo, the institution performs more than 160,000 patient visits per month and holds Level III accreditation from ONA (Organização Nacional de Acreditação), as well as European accreditation from ACSA (Agencia de Calidad Sanitaria de Andalucía).

Challenge

Before implementing Pixeon’s solutions, Laboratório Sanitas faced obstacles that made several departments inefficient.

Report extraction in the legacy system was slow and, in many cases, generated inconsistent information, compromising data reliability. In addition, the lack of traceability in change logs increased security vulnerabilities.

Another critical issue was the patient experience: while clinical analysis results were available through the online portal, imaging exams still had to be collected in person in printed format, overloading reception.

In WhatsApp service, the manual process led to many patients going unanswered due to the scheduling system’s slowness. In addition, the system frequently went down, requiring patients to request new bookings, which increased the service loss rate in that channel.
